Program TCS
International Transportation & Customs
A two-year diploma for the people who keep international trade moving — classification, valuation, documentation and compliance, taught on the documents the industry actually uses.
Optional co-op. Two paid work terms between semesters — eligibility and rules in the co-op section below.
What you will learn
The International Transportation & Customs program prepares graduates for the movement of goods across borders: the paperwork, the classification, the compliance and the people who make clearance happen.
Students work with real declaration documents, learn tariff classification and customs valuation, and follow a shipment from the supplier's door to final clearance. Graduates leave able to sit a customs broker qualifying exam or step directly into a freight-forwarding operation.
The program is delivered in a hybrid format: most weeks combine on-campus classes with guided online work, and the final year is built around applied projects with industry partners.

- Placements are arranged through the co-op office and must be approved before the work term starts.
- The co-op fee is charged to students entering the stream and is listed on the fees page.

How the program is delivered
Hybrid delivery: most weeks combine on-campus classes with guided online work, and the final year is built around applied projects with industry partners. On-campus days concentrate the hands-on work — documents, systems and simulations — while online hours carry the reading and the practice sets.
Where graduates work
Four reasons students choose this program
Industry documents, not just textbooks
Every course works from the same forms, systems and scenarios a brokerage desk uses daily.
Small classes, practising instructors
Instructors come from brokerage, forwarding and compliance roles and keep class sizes tight.
A co-op stream with real desks
Optional paid work terms put students inside brokerage and logistics operations before graduation.
A direct line to certification
The curriculum is aligned with the professional exams graduates sit after the diploma.
