Pathways.

Two directions: credit in, from prior study — and the diploma out, toward licensing, certification and further study.

Section 1

Credit for prior study

Credit may be granted for completed post-secondary study in business, law or logistics. Applicants submit transcripts with the application, and the registrar assesses credits course by course.

Holders of relevant industry designations may also apply for course exemptions, subject to a competency review.

Section 2

Where the diploma leads

Customs broker licensing

Graduates may pursue the professional licensing path for customs brokers, including the qualifying examination process administered by the licensing authority.

Industry certifications

The diploma positions graduates for designations such as the CIFFA certificate in freight forwarding and the CSCB qualified customs broker pathway.

Degree transfer

Articulation agreements allow diploma graduates to continue toward a bachelor's degree in business or supply chain management at partner institutions.
